Energy Storage

Learn more about what we do

MORE’s strategic plan includes the development of modern and functional electricity storage systems. These storage systems are individual electrochemical power storage stations (batteries), that can release electricity into the system when needed.

MORE has completed the construction of the first large-scale independent energy storage systems in Greece and has already submitted the stations’ electrification requests to ADMIE (the Independent Power Transmission Operator). MORE’s three projects are located in Fokida, Florina, and Viotia, and were built in the record time of 5 months — a fact that demonstrates the company’s technical readiness and operational efficiency. In total, the three stations have a capacity of 72 MW and 144 MWh, making MORE one of the first companies to complete projects of this scale in the country.

The three projects are being implemented within the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0,” financed by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.
