Energy storage is a key pillar of MORE’s strategy to support the energy transition and enhance the flexibility of the electricity system.
Today, the company operates energy storage systems with a total installed capacity of 82 MW and is developing an additional 557 MW of energy storage projects.
In Greece, MORE operates three utility-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS) located in Fokida, Florina and Viotia. The projects were completed in just five months, demonstrating the company’s technical expertise and strong execution capabilities. Together, they provide 72 MW of power and 144 MWh of energy storage capacity.
The three projects were implemented under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0”, funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.
