Victor Papaconstantinou is the General Manager of MORE, which comprises the renewable energy, electricity production and electricity trading activities of the Motor Oil Group. Victor has been at the helm of MORE since the establishment of the company, which is Motor Oil’s subsidiary in the RES sector. Since March 2024, he has assumed the presidency of the Hellenic Association of Independent Power Producers (HAIPP).
Previously he held the position of General Manager in charge of Strategic Planning and Development of Motor Oil. Over a period of more than 25 years, Victor has held several senior and top managerial positions in energy, industrial and consulting companies.
He was born in 1969 and holds a Degree in Chemical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and an MBA (Distinction) from Warwick Business School. He is a Fellow in the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a member of the Technical and Economic Chambers of Greece.
As of mid-90s Nicholas was a partner in one of the top Greek law firms. He served as executive director and company secretary of JV companies, led legal teams in a large number of major transactions, advised clients on major corporate and other legal matters and represented clients before the courts.
In the ‘00s Nicholas served as Of Counsel in a prominent international law firm. In this capacity he led legal teams in a large number of transactions in the fields of M&A, banking, capital markets, corporate, energy and real estate.
Having joined the Motor Oil Group in 2011 he has acted as legal counsel to Motor Oil and its subsidiaries, has managed the legal department of nrg (a Motor Oil subsidiary engaged in the field of retail electricity) and has played a leading legal role in all major transactions which have resulted in the formation of MORE.
Since the commencement of MORE’s operations Nicholas has been managing the legal department of MORE, which provides full legal support to a rapidly growing business in Greece and abroad.
Herodotus Antonopoulos is the Energy Management & Trading Manager of MORE. Since 2008 he has been actively managing and trading power in Southeast Europe, first as a trading manager of Engie’s Greek subsidiary, and later as Managing Director of Sentrade (acquired by MORE in 2020). Prior to 2008, Herodotus was active in trading and consulting in the oil sector, working for Petromar, KPMG and Hellenic Petroleum.
He graduated from the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens and received his MBA in Finance from McGill University, Canada. He is a Certified Investment Manager from the UK’s Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI), a Certified Derivatives Trader from the Athens Derivates Exchange and a certified Trader from the European Energy Exchange (EEX).
He is currently the President of the Hellenic Association of Electricity Trading and Supply Companies (ESEPIE).
Periklis Melachris is the Finance & Procurement Manager of MORE. Periklis joined MORE from Vodafone where he held several managerial positions within the Finance Department. Prior to joining Vodafone, he held financial advisory positions in Big4 firms.
He was born in 1984 and holds a Degree in Accounting & Finance from AUEB and a Masters Degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Piraeus. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and teaches CFA Level1 modules.
Spyros Koromantzos is the Head of Project Development of MORE.
Over a period of more than 20 years, he has been involved in the entire life cycle of renewable energy projects including project development, construction and operation. Prior to joining MORE, he served as Energy Projects Director at Intrakat and has previously held senior & managerial positions at energy companies including Iberdrola and EDF-RE.
Born in 1978, he holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Birmingham and has completed postgraduate studies in Energy & Environment at the University of Sheffield, as well as Energy Business at ALBA Graduate Business School. He is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece.
Panagiotis Ziogos is the Head of Engineering & Construction of MORE. With over 15 years of experience in senior management roles in the renewable energy sector, Panagiotis leads a dedicated team responsible for the design, management, and construction of MORE’s RES projects.
Born in 1982, Panagiotis holds a degree in Civil Engineering and earned an MSc from the National Technical University of Athens and an MBA from the Athens University of Economics and Business. Panagiotis is an active member of the Technical Chamber of Greece.
Andreas Athanasopoulos is Head of Operations & Maintenance of MORE. Previously he held the position of Head of Operations & Maintenance of Anemos Res. Over a period of more than 15 years, Andreas has served in top managerial positions in the sector of wind energy companies.
He was born in 1981 and holds a Degree in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering and a Μaster’s Degree in Project Management. He is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece.
Kyriakos Stratakos is the Head of Strategy & JV Coordination of MORE.
With more than 15 years of international experience in developing RES projects, Kyriakos brings expertise to a wide range of areas across the value chain of the industry, such as Business and Project Development, EPC, Project Management, Operations, Asset Management and Operational Excellence. Before joining MORE, he held the position of Head of Operations of BayWa r.e. in Munich and prior to that he held several managerial positions within the sector in Germany.
He was born in 1985, holds a Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Patras and an M.A. in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. He is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece and the Association of German Engineers (VDI).
Ioanna Tsakatoura is the HR Manager of MORE. Before taking over the department of personnel management at MORE, she was the Head of Training and Development for Motor Oil Group. She joined Motor Oil after 8 years as HR Director at companies such as, Nea Odos and Kentriki Odos, both belonging to the GEK TERNA group. Prior to that, she worked as a Human Resources Generalist at Beiersdorf Hellas and Media Markt.
Ioanna holds a degree in Psychology from the American College of Greece (Deree) and a Master’s Degree in Strategic Human Resource Management from ALBA Business School.
Efstathios Galanopoulos is the Head of Portfolio Management for MORE, leading the overall performance monitoring and optimization initiatives for operating assets. He joined Motor Oil Group in 2017 while previously held senior roles in Construction and Asset Management for Renewable projects, as well as in Management Consulting for major energy companies in the electricity, oil and natural gas sectors.
Efstathios holds a M.Eng. in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from the University of Patras specialising in Energy and an MBA from ALBA Graduate Business School.
Eleni Tsekoura is the Head of Energy Assessment of MORE. Eleni joined MORE with the completion of the Anemos Res transaction where she held the position of Head of Wind Potential and Wind Farm Design Department. Over a period of 15 years by holding senior positions, she has been working on the energy assessment of a large RES portfolio.
She was born in 1981 and holds a Degree in Physics and a Master’s Degree in Renewable Energy Systems Technology (RES) from Loughborough University.
Foteini Antonopoulou is a qualified lawyer appointed at the Supreme Court, competent for all regulatory issues in MORE.
She holds a Degree in Law and a Master’s Degree on International and European Law from the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
She has an long-standing professional expertise in the field of energy, both in national and international level. Prior to joining MORE she worked in the national Regulatory Authority for Energy (RAAEY), she was a Legal Advisor to the Ministers of Energy and Environment actively involved in the regulatory and legislative procedures and practiced civil, commercial, private international and competition law.
Dimitra Stambouli is the Head of of QHSSE of MORE. Dimitra joined MORE in 2023 from Motor Oil. Since 2010 she had held engineer positions in the technical departments of its facilities, road transport, QHSSE and Management Systems according to ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 27001, 50001 of commercial oil and gas companies.
Prior to joining Motor Oil, she worked for 10 years as a Mechanical Engineer in the manufacturing industry as well as in marine construction in Greece and abroad.
She holds a diploma in Mechanical Engineering from TU Ilmenau in Germany, recognized by DOATAP, member of TEE No. 99915. Dimitra has been certified by the International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA) as a lead inspector for ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management). She has received awards from Health & Safety competitions, as well as “Contribution Awards” in recognition of exceptional performance and achievements in QHSSE.
