Energy Assessment

The department is actively involved in the energy assessment of onshore and offshore wind farms, employing experienced and highly qualified administrative staff, as much as specialized scientific personnel with decades of experience in the field of wind energy.

At the same time, the department studies and analyses new and complex technologies, such as photovoltaic systems, hybrid power supply systems, etc.

A more in-depth overview of the department’s overall activities is presented below:

  1. Development – Operation of Wind Farms
  •  Search for areas suitable for the development of wind farms.
  •  Perform wind potential measurements using wind masts, based on ISO17025:2017 according to IEC61400-12-1:2022.
  •  Perform wind potential measurements using Lidar according to IEC61400-50-2:2022.
  •  Process and analyse wind characteristics.
  • Energy assessment of the company’s wind projects under development.
  • Perform Computational Fluid Dynamics calculations using specialised software (two and three dimensional).
  • Wind farm layout optimisation
  • Selection of appropriate type and class of wind turbines.
  • Assessment of long-term wind characteristics.
  • Reporting of energy yield studies
