Operations & Maintenance

MORE is currently operating 839 MW of renewable production capacity, including wind farms and solar PVs. The total energy production from MORE’s operating capacity resulted to 555 GWh with CO2 avoidance of 416,000 tons of CO2e (based on the avoided emissions calculator of IRENA).

The O&M team manages day-to-day operations of the wind farms, pv assets and hydroelectric assets, ensuring its efficiency and monitoring energy production. Specifically:

  • By continuously monitoring the performance of renewable energy assets. They analyse data related to energy production, equipment efficiency, and overall system performance. By identifying underperforming assets or components, they can take corrective actions to optimise energy production and maximise efficiency.
  • By coordinating regular maintenance schedules and inspections to ensure that renewable energy assets operate at their optimal capacity. This includes scheduling preventive maintenance, addressing equipment issues promptly, and coordinating repairs or replacements when necessary.
  • By facilitating responsibilities related to the financial aspects of renewable energy assets. This involves budgeting for maintenance and operations, analysing financial performance, managing operational costs, and ensuring compliance with financial goals and regulations.
  • By preparing reports on the performance, maintenance, and financial aspects of renewable energy assets. They analyse the given data to provide insights for decision-making, future planning, and to ensure that the assets meet or exceed expected performance metrics.
