Portfolio Management
The mission of the Portfolio Management function is to lead the performance monitoring and optimization initiatives for MORE’s Operating Renewable assets, currently consisting of Wind, Solar and Hydro Production Plants.
Through the application of portfolio management principles and strategies, the aim is to achieve the utmost realisation of portfolio value, to deliver insightful information for well-informed decision-making and to align results with the company’s business objectives.
The main responsibilities of the department encompass:
- Management of key contracts with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Service Providers
- Development of monitoring mechanisms and appropriate KPIs to track the performance of each asset and the portfolio as a whole
- Ensure that projects meet financial and operational targets
- Continuously evaluate and optimise the portfolio based on changing market conditions, technological advancements and regulatory developments
- Assess and manage risks associated with market, operational, regulatory and environmental perspectives. Develop mitigation strategies for impact minimization.
- Management of insurance policies, warranties and process of insurance claims
- Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities, assess competition, and stay informed about market trends and emerging technologies
- Development of budgets for operational assets and effective allocation of resources to meet strategic objectives
