MORE is undertaking targeted portfolio restructuring initiatives aimed at optimizing capital allocation and maximizing long-term value creation.
In this context, MORE has reached an agreement for the sale of a portfolio of operating wind farms with a total installed capacity of 107 MW to PPC Renewables.
This transaction forms part of the company’s active portfolio management strategy and enables the timely realization of value from mature assets, while further strengthening its financial flexibility.
As part of the same strategic framework, MORE is also advancing the restructuring of its solar PV presence through the Unagi platform.
MORE has acquired the remaining 25% stake in Unagi and now owns 100% of the platform.
Unagi has entered into an agreement to sell a 51% stake in a portfolio of 12 solar PV projects under development, with a total capacity of 1,175 MW, to PPC Renewables, which already holds a 49% stake in the portfolio.
Following completion of the transactions, Unagi will retain a 51% interest in three solar PV projects with a combined capacity of 288 MW.
MORE is reallocating resources toward sectors offering stronger return potential, with a strategic focus on further expanding its wind energy and energy storage portfolios. These technologies already account for approximately 90% of the company’s installed capacity.
Over the past five years, MORE has delivered strong growth, increasing its operating installed capacity to nearly 1 GW.
These transactions are fully aligned with the company’s 2030 strategic objectives, under which MORE targets EBITDA exceeding €250 million and total installed capacity of 2 GW, supported by its robust development pipeline.
The proceeds from these transactions are expected to significantly enhance the company’s financial flexibility, enabling the self-financing of future growth phases through and beyond 2030.
MORE remains committed to executing its strategy and will continue to selectively evaluate new investment and transaction opportunities aimed at delivering sustainable long-term value for its shareholders.
Completion of the transactions remains subject to the satisfaction of customary conditions precedent for transactions of this nature, including, among other things, the receipt of the necessary approvals from the relevant regulatory authorities.
