MORE, a subsidiary of the Motor Oil Group and one of the largest producers of energy from renewable sources, stands as a proud sponsor alongside two great Greek Paralympians, Alexandra Stamatopoulou and Kelly Loufaki, filling their luggage with even more energy in their preparation for the Paralympic Games to be held in 2024 in Paris.

The sponsorship of the two female athletes is part of the company’s philosophy that focuses on people and society. The goal of MORE is to become an ally and fellow traveler in their struggle, for their participation and distinction in major events.

Alexandra Stamatopoulou is a swimmer and since 2012 has taken part in the Panhellenic Swimming Championships A.m.A. She is a World Champion and Paralympian, having won a series of medals in her career: three medals at the European Championships in Funchal in 2016 (2 silvers & 1 bronze), three medals at the World Championships in Mexico in 2018 (1 bronze & 2 silvers), gold in Pan European Championships in Dublin in 2018, silver at the World Championships in London in 2019, gold at the Pan European Championships in Madeira, Portugal in 2021 and bronze at the Tokyo Paralympics in the same year. At the World Championship in Portugal in 2022 she won the gold medal again and at this year’s Singapore Opening the bronze medal.

Kelly Loufaki is a World Champion and a member of the National Wheelchair Fencing team. She is the first female fencer to compete in the Paralympic Games in Rio 2016, while in 2018 she won the bronze medal at the Wheelchair Fencing World Cup in Canada. The serious accident she had in 2012 was decisive for her life, but it did not take her away from her goals, on the contrary, it helped her redefine them and pushed her to achieve even more. Of course, her involvement in championships helped in this. At the same time, she is an ambassador of the European program “Be Active”, while she participates in conferences and events as a motivational speaker.

Victor Papaconstantinou, General Manager of MORE, said about the sponsorship:
«The two athletes represent everything that MORE stands for and seeks to support. More effort, more energy, even higher goals to achieve. We wish Kelly and Alexandra every success and we will be by their side supporting the fight to fulfill their dreams, making Greece proud.».

MORE joins its actions for a future with more opportunities for all, supporting people who set an example for their daily struggle, the strength of their souls and the courage they show in the face of challenges, on and off the playing field.
